VIOLATION REPORTING SYSTEMS: Whistleblowing

The term whistleblower ("he who blows the whistle") defines the person who reports illicit activities to the organization (and its counterparts) in which he works, effectively constituting an internal protection mechanism within the organizational apparatus of the company. In Italy the matter is regulated by Legislative Decree no. 24/2023 concerning "the protection of people who report violations of Union law and containing provisions regarding the protection of people who report violations of national regulatory provisions".

Sebach S.p.A., like the other companies in the group and in accordance with the provisions of the new regulations, has activated an internal system for reporting acts or facts that may concern actions or omissions relating to hypotheses of illicit conduct relevant pursuant to the Legislative Decree. n. 231/2001, of the Organisation, Management and Control Model, of the Code of Ethics or in any case harm the interest or integrity of the company.

The Supervisory Body is the structure responsible for ensuring the correct carrying out of the process.

The "Whistleblowing" procedure adopted by the company allows violations that harm the interest or integrity of Sebach S.p.A. to be reported with the maximum guarantee of confidentiality, and of which one became aware within the working context, protecting the whistleblower from possible retaliatory or discriminatory behaviour.
